Liverpool have become the first club in Europe's big-five leagues to record a monumental landmark for goals scored.
The Reds came from behind against Luton at Anfield on Wednesday to win 4-1 as second half goals from Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott all found the target.
Jurgen Klopp fumed at Liverpool supporters during the first half but was all smiles at full time as his players secured a vital victory that takes the Reds four points clear of Man City in the Premier League.
Diaz's 71st-minute strike to make it 3-1 on the night put Liverpool into the record books as they achieved the feat of having five players reach double digits for goals this season.
Diaz (10 goals) joins his Liverpool team-mates Mohamed Salah (19 goals), Diogo Jota (14 goals), Darwin Núñez (13 goals) and Cody Gakpo (11 goals) following his latest strike against the Hatters.
The impressive achievement covers the Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, LaLiga and Bundesliga, with Liverpool becoming the first club to boast the statistic.
Salah leads Liverpool's goalscoring contributions this season and is currently second int he Premier League standings for the most goals this season, only behind Man City's Erling Haaland.
Meanwhile, Nunez has also achieved over 10+ assists in all competitions and would have more goals if the Uruguayan was more clinical in front of goal having previously hit the woodwork four times in one game.
Speaking post-match, Klopp said: 'Exceptional game. I liked lots of the first half, but I saw that the boys and the crowd didn't like it as much.
'We started OK and you have to get used to an opponent. Then they scored their goal but everything was good until the final third, and then we were in a rush.
'I told the boys it was a top game. We have to be calmer in decisive moments, then there were fireworks and wonderful goals. Fantastic night. It is just really good.'
