David Luiz defended his shirt-pull on Mohamed Salah after Liverpool's 3-0 defeat of Arsenal on Saturday.
Luiz conceded a penalty for tugging at Salah and allowed the Egyptian to score the second goal of the afternoon. The Liverpool forward went on to net a solo effort to protect his side's perfect start to the campaign.
He also tried to claim it was a minimal tug that had been misinterpreted by VAR.
"Mo said to me he didn't feel me touch him so that's why he didn't fall down to the floor but now with VAR, you cannot see the power so it's difficult for the referees and he sees the shirt," Luiz said.
"It could be a penalty every time. It is interpretation, so I think if you pull someone with power and you change his attempt to go to the ball it's different but it just reflects and that's it.
When challenged by Sky Sports presenter Geoff Shreeves, Luiz demonstrated the incident by tugging at his arm.
"If I put my hand like that, the power is different," he explained. "So that's what I say. VAR is difficult for them, they cannot see the power, so if I pull him like this [yanking Shreeves] it's more power, so it depends on the interpretation but if you see the shirt, it's why they give a penalty.
βI don't judge or complain, I just say my view and it's just one second. Football is like that. We have to look forward. I spoke to Mo, he is my friend, and he said he didn't feel that so, but that's football.β

He did not have to feel you touch him Luiz. The referee and Cameras are there for that and you actually did pulled his shirt very openly and clearly. You are more than this Luiz and the penalty was very correct.

Luis please go back to Chelsea let Mustafi take us down his regular road .Also would we be unfair to ask that Emery and Valverde to go back from whence they came and let Arsenal and Barcelona play like the two big clubs we they are.
