The Belgium international, who left Old Trafford to join Inter, has accused his former club of not doing enough to make him feel wanted.
Romelu Lukaku has hit out at Manchester United for not doing enough to protect him in the media and claims he, Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez were continually made scapegoats.
Lukaku feels there was an unjust focus on his performances as well as those of Pogba and Sanchez, who has been tipped to join him at Inter.
"They have to find somebody," Lukaku told the LightHarted Podcast, apparently recorded prior to his Inter move. "It is Pogba, it is me or it is Alexis. It's the three of us all the time.
"They have got to find somebody to blame. I put my hand up, like, this year I don't think I was the only one playing bad. A lot of people were playing bad but they had to find the culprit.
"If they want to put the blame on me, you know what, f*** it, do what you gotta do.
"I think the team has so much potential to do some great stuff. There is a lot of talent. But it is not only talent; you really have to build a team."
Lukaku also took issue with suggestions he did not suit Solskjaer's intended style of play.
"A lot of people don't think I should be part of that system," he said. "That's my feeling from the conversations that I have. I just know.
"For me, the thing that makes me laugh a lot is: how the hell is s*** going bad in my team, but when I play in my national team, it's good? And I'm happy.
"I didn't play the last six weeks of the league, like the last three weeks or something before the end of the season and then I had another three weeks off before I had to play for the national team, and then we go and play with the Belgium team.
"And nobody there complains because I think the perception in my country is changing slightly. A lot of people were saying a lot of stuff. For me, it took years for a lot of people to change their perception. Man U might not get that time. It's s*** that it happens like that.
"When I go and play for my country, we play the style of play that we want to play probably with Man United and I do well over there. So is it me? Four goals in the World Cup, three weeks ago I scored three goals in two games, and before that we played Switzerland and Iceland in September and I scored four goals in two games. I've scored 48 goals for my country.
"We all know that international soccer is different than club football but the playing style we play in the national team is the one we want to play at Man United. So is it me? Or do we need to have a conversation from man to man and tell each other the rules?"

Not the Club, it's the English Media who praise their ova rated players and demote other nationalities. Just imagine players like Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Luke Shaw Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard they don't even have the ability to play for Fulham

Lukaku must act professional and accept whatever comes with the new challenges he always want to take plz. going to Everton from Chelsea was a happy move, later felt not wanted, moving to Man United from Everton was a dream come true as per his say. Now that he joined inter his dream now turned into this? He need to know that as a player he is responsible for the treatment he gets. Ronaldo and Messi are respected because of what they do on the pitch not only because of how the thought and desired to be treated. Come on Lukaku, be a player and do your part on the pitch. You will surely get it. All the best.

He does certainly have a point- but I guess that expectation comes with the price tag & salary you are drawing! There are expectations & demand of 20+ goals from these players when it is not possible to score that many if you have problems at the back or even in creating chances. Madrid had Kroos & Isco & Modric to create chances and had Casemiro to help in defence (which was their weakness). You play Scott to help in defense but that leaves only Pogba to create chances. Lingard is just not a well developed talent - Januzaj was made to show the door & he was similar to Lingard. So yeah- that is true. Its the fans & the British Media which really can’t fathom a bad game from either of these players!

He is seeking sympathy by mentioning foreign players only so that it can be seen as if Man United is favouring local players. What I know for a fact is that whenever Jones plays and United loses, he is always blamed because he is that bad. The blame should also go to you because you have be pathetic together with Sanchez. Leave Pogba out of this because you are not in the same category. Often Pogba is blamed for playing below his potential deliberately unlike you who does so because of lack of talent and ideas. Am sure you are going to fly in the farmers' league because that's where your talent belongs.

What Lukaku said is totally true. .... and we all knows what his taking about he didn't create a lie story he just say what is always happens and they always try to get some one to blame between Sanchez,Lukaku or Pogba all time even if Jones scored a owner goal they to they have to blame someone not Jones him self .... Only some who watch soccer all time will understand what Lukaku said. ..As all we not that the truth pain some of them already calling stupid names. ....just deal with it this true what Lukaku said
