Romelu Lukaku has revealed he knew his Manchester United career was over when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to move him from his usual No 9 position to the wing.
Solskjaer chose to play Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford as his main striker during periods of last season as Lukaku fell out of favour under the Manchester United boss.
Lukaku ended up joining Inter Milan in the summer for £73million and the Belgian has revealed when he knew his time was up at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old, speaking to Corriere dello Sport, said of his United exit: "Once I learned that [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer planned to put me on the wing, then I knew my time at Manchester United was over."

Ole is not a good coach, I feel sorry for Manchester United but Ole is never gonna be what they wish for. He's average like David Moyes, the only thing ole has it's the support of the fans and the club probably bcz he is able to take points against big teams but soon that will be over and the supporters will soon turn on him especially with the likes of Potchetinho, Allegri available, soon Ancelloti will leave Napoli and now Tottenham Hotspur have hired top top manager in Jose Mourhino, Liverpool have Klopp ,Manchester city have Pep Guardiola and I think Ancelloti will come back to Chelsea Fc so that leaves United under pressure to change their average manager
