LUKE LITTLER paraded his World Darts Championship trophy in front of Manchester United fans at half-time at Old Trafford.

The Nuke – the sport’s youngest world champion aged 17 – was the guest of honour for the club's Premier League clash against Brighton.

The Warrington ace, a Man Utd super-fan, showed off the silverware to the 74,000-strong crowd at half-time, with the score at 1-1.

Littler beamed as he walked to the edge of the half-way line pitch-side and lifted the Sid Waddell Trophy three times above his head.

The United faithful serenaded the teenage sensation with his iconic "Walking in a Littler wonderland" chant while TV cameras zoomed in.

Littler, sporting jeans and a padded black coat, then gave one final lift, turning to both the Stretford End and East Stand, before heading back to his seat.

The world No2 was crowned the youngest ever world champ on January 3 after beating Michael van Gerwen in the Ally Pally final.

The trophy parade was moved from the pre-game to avoid a clash with the emotional tributes to former United and Scotland striker Denis Law.

United paid a heart-warming tribute to 84-year-old Law, whose death was announced on Friday.

Scottish pipers played out "The Flower of Scotland"  United's starting line-up walked slowly next to Brighton's side.

But the Red Devils players on the pitch failed to live up to the memorable occasion.

United fell behind thanks to Yankuba Minteh's opener, before Bruno Fernandes equalised for the hosts after Joshua Zirkzee won a penalty.

And they were pegged back again in the 53rd minute after Joao Pedro made it 2-1, before VAR disallowed it for a controversial foul.

But the Seagulls did eventually find themselves ahead seven minutes later through Kaoru Mitoma.

And they completed the win after Andre Onana spilled the ball at Georginio Rutter's feet to allow him to make it 3-1.

Littler - who has been a guest at United's training ground - was set to meet with Ruben Amorim and United's squad post-match.

On Tuesday, he will turn 18 and then a few days later, he will travel to Den Bosch in Holland for the two-day Dutch Darts Masters.

He flew home on Saturday from the Middle East after losing to Gerwyn Price in the quarter-finals of the Bahrain Darts Masters.

Twelve months ago – the month in which he lost the 2024 world final to Luke Humphries – he watched a 2-2 draw with Tottenham from the United directors’ box.

On the VIP visit, he met legendary boss Sir Alex Fegruson backstage and posed for a photo.

United stars including Harry Maguire were also among those to congratulate the youngster after his historic win earlier this month.
