Manchester United manager Amorim has reportedly set his sights on Inter Milan’s star defender Federico Dimarco.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Amorim has identified Dimarco, 26, as a priority target as he persists with his 3-4-3 system.
The left wingback has had an impressive start to the season at Inter, scoring two goals and three assists in just six appearances and is widely regarded as the best in his position.
Prying him away from the Italian side may prove tricky however, with Dimarco said to be keen in extending his current deal which expires in the summer of 2027.
The news comes after major doubts regarding Shaw’s long-term future at the club persist, with many believing United need to add more depth in the position alongside Patrick Dorgu.
