Manchester United star Luke Shaw is expecting his first child with Anouska Santos.

Sharing a sweet snap, the couple cosied up alongside an image of their scan, while they also revealed their imminent arrival is a boy.

The 23-year-old football ace has been training at Manchester United's Carrington HQ this week to get a head-start before a tough pre-season.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned his stars that any who return overweight risk being left out of the club's tour of Australia, Singapore and China.

Solskjaer has been disappointed by the fitness of his players and many at the club believe it played a part in their drastic dip in form towards the end of the season.

The United boss is promising changes, with fitness staff told to plan a regime that will enable the squad to maintain a high-energy pressing game.

Luke has been criticised in the past for not watching his weight and will even take one of United's fitness coaches on holiday to ensure he stays in shape and meets Solskjaer's demands.
