MUTV cut away after seeing a fan in an unreleased Man Utd kit

MUTV suffered an embarrassing gaffe in their coverage ahead of Manchester United's friendly victory against Rangers.

United continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 win against Rangers at Murrayfield, with Amad Diallo and Josh Hugill on the scoresheet.

However, matters didn't go quite so smoothly off the pitch as a fan was shown wearing United's unreleased third kit in an interview before the game.

Cameras quickly cut away, with the presenter forced to bring the interview to an abrupt end.

The white Adidas shirt includes red and black stripes.

United suffered a disappointing start to pre-season a they were beaten 1-0 by Rosenborg.

However, they managed to respond with a victory against Rangers.

Next up for United is a clash against Arsenal in the United States, with further games to come against Real Betis and Liverpool.

Erik ten Hag's side will then get their campaign underway when they take on rivals Manchester City in the Community Shield on August 10.

Six days later, United will commence their Premier League season with a home game against Fulham.
