Madrid U19s top their UEFA Youth League group and reach last 16

Real Madrid's Juvenil side - their under-19s - have reached the last 16 of the UEFA Youth League after drawing 2-2 away to Club Brugge on Wednesday afternoon.

Los Blancos twice took the lead, first through Jorge Martin Camunas in the 23rd minute before Mathias De Wolf scored from the penalty spot for the hosts. Pablo Rodriguez Delgado then restored Los Merengues' advantage in the 78th minute, yet a 96th minute strike from Senne Lammens salvaged a point for the Belgians.

Head coach Daniel Poyatos thus ensured that they finished top of Group A with a record of four wins, one draw and one defeat from their six games, scoring 16 goals and conceding 10.

Club Brugge finished as runners-up with 10 points, while Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray ended the group stage in third and fourth respectively, both having racked up six points.
