Maguire: It was very, very tough. I'm very disappointed and frustrated. Our performance wasn't good enough. It was a disappointing day.
In previous years, you’ve sometimes stepped up to give interviews like this when the club has faced difficulties. How does this period compare with other challenging times you’ve experienced at Man United?
Every difficult spell is tough. It's really hard to play for this club and not win. You want to win for the club and the fans—they deserve better. It's been a difficult start to the season. The only positive is that it's still early, and we have time to turn things around. But we need to do so quickly. We must respond strongly next week.
As you left the field, the Stretford End applauded the manager warmly, but once he entered the tunnel, the players, including captain Bruno Fernandes, were booed. What did you make of the fans' reaction to the team's performance?
Our fans are amazing, and we won't go against them. They're the best fans in the world, and they deserve more. We'll do our best to give them what they deserve.

Any Manchester United player who is this angry about the performance loves the club and wants the best for both the club and the fans. Carrick, I wish you could come across this post and take it to heart; it would be of help to you. Now that you've messed up by doing some other things, you know that it was you who messed up; don't rush that you want to correct things; call your players to any venue you choose, chat with them, and apologise to them; show love to each of them and call upon togetherness and things will turn around. Remember, Bruno was 90% right in saying that Manchester United were supposed to be pressing against Como and if that was the reason you dropped him, then you were wrong; instead, you should have corrected him another way because there was no creativity in the field yesterday. By the way, the people who are causing us the losses are Tielemans, Mbuemo and Chuna, why? Because 1-Chuna instead of concentrating and fighting hard for the ball and to win, likes diving and giving up on the ball as if he has forgotten which club he is playing for, i hate him for that, but he is a good player; he is not playing like he used to play at Wolverhampton. 2-Mbeumo is only concentrating on getting fat; he cannot fight for the ball anymore, he can't even press and if you watch the match against Como Bruno kept calling him to press but he was just there relaxing and any ball given to him there is always an 85% risk of losing it and after losing it he doesn't fight for the ball anymore, Manchester United is a very big club and needs players who always fear losing even a single game but our players are just enjoying these losses. 3- Tielemans hahaha is one of the players Carrick has never dropped from his squad yet he can't do anything to change or create anything in the midfield; no creativity, no good shots as a midfielder; he is worthless compared to any No.8 midfielder, for example. Bruno Guimarães please drop this Tielemans and play Kobbie, Baleba and Bruno at 10.
