THE partners of two Man City players turned the air sky blue in an astonishing clash — with one calling the other a “bum bitch”.
Winger Leroy Sane’s girlfriend Candice Brook let rip in a string of abusive text messages to Riyad Mahrez’s wife Rita.
The row came after The Sun on Sunday revealed this month that Rita, 25, enjoyed a night at a club with heavyweight boxing ace Deontay Wilder, 34.
The extraordinary clash is the second wag war in a matter of weeks following allegations by Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen that Rebekah Vardy — married to Mahrez’s former Leicester teammate Jamie — had been passing stories about her to the Press.
In the latest encounter, Candice, who is a close pal of Wilder’s fiancee Telli Swift, branded Rita a “real groupie bitch” and added: “You eating with your fat ass stomach, lol.”
Rita then responded by saying Candice looks “like an old boy” and told her to “take that wig off”.
A source said: “We all know that wags can have sharp tongues, but no one has seen anything like this before. It is vicious.
“Rita was completely taken aback by the savagery of Candice and tried to defuse things with a little humour as best she could.”
The text wrangle continued with Candice, 32, taunting Rita over her weight and breast implants.
She wrote: “Bitch I’m from LA. My skin is tight! I work out every day. Eat healthy every day!
“Yep my boobs are flat no implants. No fake s***. All real! And I am in better shape than you have ever been in! So see me in Manchester chubs! Cause you talk too much.”
As the row intensified, Candice appeared to threaten to fight her rival, saying: “See me in Manchester. I don’t do text baby girl.”
Rita replied: “You think I’m scared of you old woman?”
But model Candice said: “Old but my body is better than yours. Nah boo, I’m in the gym.” She also messaged: “All you can talk about is money. You can’t dress. You look like s***. You can’t even go to the gym.”
Clearly rattled, Rita responded by calling Candice a “cougar gold-digger” and claimed that her boyfriend Sane’s mum wanted her to sign a pre-nuptial agreement before their planned wedding.
Candice also called Rita a “corn ball” — US slang for someone who tries unsuccessfully to be cool — and cruelly claimed her lifestyle had caused health complications during her pregnancy.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Rita was left in floods of tears. She did nothing wrong when she met Deontay. Some of the comments were deeply hurtful and highly personal.
“She is now really concerned that things could get out of hand at the club Christmas party. Rita is even thinking about taking her own security to the event.”
In the aftermath of the clash, fellow wives and girlfriends of Manchester City players set up a WhatsApp group to decide which of the feuding duo they should support.
The source added: “A lot of the wags have been told about the content of the messages and believe Candice acted like a bully towards Rita.”
