Mahrez upgraded and Cancelo downgraded in latest FIFA 20 update

EA SPORTS have released the latest FIFA 20 database update today, with two Manchester City stars seeing their ratings changed as of April 29, 2020.

City first-team players Riyad Mahrez and Joao Cancelo have been both been affected in the latest FIFA 20 update, with Mahrez given a significant upgrade, whilst Cancelo has been given a harsh downgrade, despite both players not having played a football match for a long time.

Riyad Mahrez - Upgrade

Mahrez has been given a significant upgrade in the latest FIFA 20 database update, as EA SPORTS look to make the game as realistic as possible.

The Algerian winger's crossing (81-83), reactions (77-80) and vision (82-84) have all been given a significant boost.

This has led to his overall rating being increased from 85 to 86, with his potential rating also being increased by the same amount.

Joao Cancelo - Downgrade

We're not sure why Cancelo deserves a downgrade, but the Portugal international has just got a bit worse on FIFA 20.

The full-back's crossing (84-83), reactions (82-81) and stamina (92-90) have all been downgraded.

This has led to his overall rating being downgraded too, going down from 83 to 82. His potential has also been affected, going down from 87 to 86.
