The Premier League title race will go to the final day and Manchester City will hold the advantage.
Pep Guardiola's side recorded a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening to finally overtake Arsenal after fulfilling their game in hand. The Citizens take just a two-point advantage into Sunday's Premier League finale with both teams hoping to be crowned champions.
Erling Haaland's second half brace ensured Spurs were unable to do their north London rivals a favour in their penultimate game of 2023/24 season. The result means City will be big favourites to record a fourth Premier League title in a row and become the first team in the division to do so.
Guardiola's side will go into their match against West Ham on Sunday knowing they need to claim three points to guarantee they lift the title at the Etihad Stadium. Arsenal face Everton at the Emirates in the knowledge they only stand a chance with a win.
For many, a City title win will seem inevitable but plenty of twists and turns could remain over the course of 90 minutes. The Premier League could yet be decided by goal difference.
Mirror Football takes a look at how the weekend's results could impact the teams at the top.
Manchester City win
A win and there's nothing to worry about for City. They will celebrate a Premier League record fourth title win.
Arsenal loss
It goes without saying that defeat to the Toffees will leave Arsenal in second place.
City draw and Arsenal win
Both teams would finish the season on 89 points. With Arsenal already seeing an advantage on goal difference, that would only be extended with a win and Arsenal would become Premier League champions.
City draw and Arsenal draw
That would see the two-point gap remain and City would be named Premier League champions.
City lose and Arsenal win
Defeat for Man City would provide the Gunners with an opportunity to capitalise. A victory against Everton would place Arsenal on 89 points and one point ahead of their rivals and see them lifting the trophy.
City lose and Arsenal draw
This combination would see Arsenal miss out on the title by just one point and City would be crowned champions.

Who stopped Arsenal from winning UCL. You don't have authority to yali about Bayern, the husband of Arsenal. Bayern has humuliated Arsenal enough, don't talk. If you wano more humiliation, go and sign to play in Bundesliga which you think is not competitive and see how teams like RB Lepzig will humuliate you.
Then bring your Bayern munich to EPL and be stunned on how Bournemouth will welcome ya'll to the league

UCL is always the only route ya'll use to tackle us and nothing more; What does bayern understands in a being as competitive as EPL?? You think it your one team league where a average clubs dash you their player so you win the league and dash them peanuts in return?
And which competition is in PL when man city has been winning the league for many years now. PL is a complete definition of the farmers league. And Arsenabottlers are the complete definition of bottlers. Let Arsenabottlers win CL first then u can come back here.

Arsenabottlers fans are the most delusional fanbase ever. They are always relying on others, even their biggest enemies to them a favour in order to win. That is why they will never win anything big. Still ZERO champions league in over 100 years? Useless club indeed

Good teams depend on themselves to win it and all can see Arsenal is not one of them. Arsenal ruthlessly humiliated West Ham with 6-0 not just for the 3 points and now hopping West Ham to do them a favour is a big fxxking joke! Spurs already proved the point and West Ham will gladly let MC win and hope for a humble score just enough for them to lift the cup without too much embarrassment!
What is this one saying??
