Manchester City are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup after coming from behind to comfortably beat Championship leaders Fulham 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

The Cottagers threatened to cause a shock when 19-year-old Fabio Carvalho - whose deadline day move to Liverpool fell through - lashed an unstoppable shot past Zack Steffen after six minutes.

However, Ilkay Gundogan provided an immediate response and equalised two minutes later, before John Stones headed home from a corner to complete the turnaround before the game was even 13 minutes old.

Riyad Mahrez made sure of City's progress with a brace in the second half - first scoring from the penalty spot after Jack Grealish had been fouled and then finishing off a slick counter attacking move.
