According to reports, Manchester City have reached an initial agreement with Bayer Leverkusen regarding the transfer of Florian Wirtz.
Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas reports that City and Leverkusen have come to a verbal agreement on the basic framework of the deal. Manchester City are aware that, compared to their Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich, Leverkusen would prefer to sell Wirtz to them.
Bayern are also pushing hard to sign Wirtz and remain confident they can convince him to join. However, Wirtz has yet to make a final decision on his future.

Once ManCity complete this transfer, you will hear how they use oil money and unfair dealings to improve their squad. And how Pep is only made to look good by the players he signs. But no one will mention the fact that Real Madrid are stealling $150-200 million worth of stars for free from other clubs yearly to improve their squad. They have a clever way of convincing players to join. Instead of paying a huge transfer fee, they give the player a mammoth bonus and give a huge contract, which is a smart move. I give them that. But they should leave other clubs to run their business in their own way. One of the reasons for ManCity's indifferent season is probably the cloud of their FFP case they have with the EPL hanging over their heads, even though they may not admit it. I think this is just the doing of so.e of the old money clubs in Europe who can no longer keep up with the demands of the modern game. They just have to resort to dirty tactics to try and stay in the loop. Same with Real Madrid in Spain, who showed this season how they have been winning their titles: manipulation of officials by putting undue pressure on them before crucial games, buying favors from match officials and influential people that make important decisions in football circles. The age of social media is exposing their secrets, and now we understand why Barcelona is hunted in the Negrera case. They knew about Madrid's dealings and wanted to at least have a heads up about who was going to be involved in their games to prepare themselves psychologically to deal with these frauds which were under Madrids influence and on their payroll.

It shows how Real Madrid lives in your brain rent free. You should start asking yourself if Real Madrid put Barca in mismanagement leading to financial crisis or were involved in the 115 charges Man City is facing. Stop going around creating your own delusion and claiming that Real Madrid is stealing players. Players have representatives who helps them make sound decisions. Real Madrid did bid £200 for Mbappe but PSG turned that down, so what's your point? You're just successfully paired in the nonsense that Barca and Man City are one club. Wake up!
