Manchester City face a battle to keep their best youngsters with Brahim Diaz set to sign for Real Madrid in January while Barcelona and Juventus want Phil Foden.
Diaz's situation is more pressing with City's contract with the 19-year-old running out in the summer meaning he can negotiate terms with Real Madrid in January.
Born in Malaga, the attacking midfielder has been with City since he was 14 but his path is currently blocked by the plethora of talent City have.
Midfielder Foden though is Stockport born and raised, has been at the club since he was six years and has a contract until 2020.
City will sit down for talks in the coming weeks with Foden's representatives but he has attracted interest from all around Europe, with Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig the first to make contact with Barca and Juventus also keen to sign him when his deal runs out.
Another wanted man is Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi, with Monaco and RB Leipzig keen to sign him when his contract runs out in 2020.
It follows a growing trend for youngsters at Premier League club who feel they are unlikely to get games, Jadon Sancho having been the trailblazer, leaving City in 2016 to join Borussia Dortmund and overtaking the likes of Foden by being promoted into the England squad because of the opportunities he has been given.
Sancho scored twice on Saturday, starting for Dortmund in the 2-2 draw against Hertha Berlin, meaning he now has four goals in his last three games for the Bundesliga team and scored his first Champions League goal in the 4-0 over Atletico Madrid.
By contrast, though Foden and Diaz both started the Community Shield, they have since only started one game, the Carabao Cup tie at Oxford.
Hudson-Odoi, like Foden and Sancho part of the England Under-17 World Cup winning team last year, also started the Community Shield but has since only got on for 30 minutes, on Thursday, against Bate Borisov in the Europa League.

pep keep finding games to play Mr "off side " Jesus and "scared cat" Gundogan and refuse to give Brahaim even a 30 minutes game even when we were leading and way ahead in points last season and don't even name him this season in team for caraibo games. Brahaim will be a top goal scorer within the next two seasons ..either for us or against us. pep just wants to win and with people he bought. ...Jason's departure was predictable ...if Brahaim leaves, not only will Phil follow but young talent will stay clear of pep. .. am sure Brahaim could do a better Job up front than Jesus. at least give him a chance to flop. Jesus already signed contact so he not going anywhere. Give Brahaim game time and this will help secure contract and give us more flexibility and attacking options. loyalty don't buy groceries..these kids will go in search of fame and fortune . whoever thought Jadon would get called for National duties before Phil ? whose fault ? Liverpool have one team..eventually they gonna break down and start losing games and injuries pile up. if we not careful..the same will happen to city..
