Man City have more trophies since 2008 than in history before

Manchester City's evisceration of Watford in Saturday's FA Cup final not only completed a historic domestic treble.

It took their haul of trophies in the Sheikh Mansour era, now into its 11th year, to a total of 10.

It means they have now won more trophies since 2008 than they collected in their entire 114-year history before the takeover.

It all began when Yaya Toure's goal clinched the 2011 FA Cup final, culminating in the triumph of Pep Guardiola's side at the weekend.

It includes four Premier League titles to go with those two FA Cups and four League Cups.

But the ultimate prize still alludes them, after they were knocked out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage once again last month.

Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling struck braces as City crushed Watford 6-0 to make it 10 trophies in the last seven years.
