Manchester City are reportedly one of several European clubs interested in Juventus youngster Nicolo Rovella, with the midfielder currently out on loan with Monza.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Blues are monitoring the 20-year-old's situation, with the player impressing since his summer loan switch from the Old Lady. Rovella, who joined Juventus in January 2021, has only made three senior appearances for the Italian giants, but has featured on 14 occasions on loan already this season.
Rovella was named captain for Italy Under 21's for the matches against England and Japan. The midfielder has made 17 appearances for the U21s, registering three goals and one assist.
The report claims that City have sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old, but any move would be unlikely to happen until next summer at the earliest.
Elsewhere, The Athletic have reported that Shakhtar Donetsk have informed clubs that they will need to pay nearly £90m if they want to secure the services of highly-touted winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Mudryk has been tentatively linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium, with a number of sides interested in the 21-year-old. The Ukrainian outfit have reportedly claimed that 'the market is deciding the price' - referencing the transfers of Jack Grealish and Antony to City and Manchester United respectively.
Shakhtar's director of football, Dario Srna, said: "If somebody wants to buy Mudryk, they must pay huge, huge, huge money. Otherwise the president of the club (Rinat Akhmetov) will not sell him.
"The market is deciding the price — not me. Antony, [Jack] Grealish, they are players of more than €100m and for me, Mudryk does not have less quality than them."
The 21-year-old has registered 11 goals contributions in 10 league games and five contributions from his six Champions League matches this season.
