The City star has won four Premier League titles under Guardiola, and should he leave the club at the end of the season, the reigning Premier League champions are likely to look to recruit a replacement.

Elsewhere, TuttoMercatoWeb are reporting that City are among several clubs interested in Celtic academy star Rocco Vata.

The youngster, who is said to have been part of Celtic's U23 setup since he was 15 years-old, is yet to feature for the senior side, but has impressed for the youth teams.

The report claims that City, AC Milan, Juventus and Arsenal are all monitoring the youngster, who is valued at €2 million.

Vata - a youth international for the Republic of Ireland - featured for Celtic in pre-season, but manager Ange Postecoglou does not view him as a member for his first team yet. He has played in the UEFA Youth League this term, and has also starred against senior players as part of the 'B' team, which takes part at Lowland League level.
