Mason Holgate has signed a new five-year contract with Everton, penning a deal until the end of June 2025. According to reports, Guardiola's Manchester City are interested in the England defender.
The 23-year-old joined the Club from Barnsley in 2015 and has made 74 first-team appearances since his debut against Tottenham Hotspur in August 2016.
The centre-back has been in commanding form this season and been a near ever-present as Everton have put together a strong run of results under manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Holgate explained how his significant progress since coming to Goodison Park and Everton’s ambitions for the future were instrumental in his decision to commit to the Club.
“This is my fifth year at Everton and my development as a person and a player in that period has been massive,” Holgate told evertontv.
“The direction the Club is going, it is a great Club to be at and I am really excited about it.
“We want to move to the next step and push for bigger and better things.
“I want to win things – and winning some silverware is where I see us.
“It is definitely a positive time to be here and I am looking forward to seeing how far we can go.”

maybe bro they will say like that but we hope to get strong CB without too much
and thnkz for your replies mate💙💙
Happy to chat with you about football and our club bro We can definitely get a class CB, but even Tosin that's out on loan is a great prospect. Just imagine Tosin and Garcia developing under Pep while playing alongside Laporte. So if we keep Stones and let Otamendi go, we could have 4 top class CBs.....3 of which would be home-grown

I know he's younger, but I doubt cheaper. Trust me, Leicester will play hardball. The let Maguire go for 80m....they won't give up their 2 best CBs in just 12 months and not make a killing. I promise you they'll ask for 100m.
