Manchester City are close to completing the signings of England internationals Niamh Charles and Beth Mead.
Charles has agreed terms and completed a medical with WSL champions City after a fee was accepted by Chelsea.
The defender only has one year left on her contract with the west London club.
Meanwhile, Mead will join City on a free transfer when her contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the month.
Mead, who joined the Gunners from Sunderland in 2017, made 265 appearances for the club, scoring 86 goals.
She spent nine seasons in north London, where she won the 2018/19 Women's Super League title and also the Champions League in 2025.
