Man United 'consider' Denzel Dumfries transfer swap offer plus transfer rumours

Manchester United are rumoured to be considering offering a huge £30million plus Diogo Dalot swap deal for Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries.

The 26-year-old has impressed for the Netherlands so far at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, with reports from Sports Witness suggesting United are preparing a trade offer that includes in-form full-back Diogo Dalot. United boss Erik ten Hag is known to want to bolster his defensive options, with Aaron Wan Bissaka seemingly out of his plans.

Ten Hag will be familiar to Dumfries having seen his capabilities in the Eredivise whilst the defender spent three years with PSV, before moving to Italy back in 2021. His value is thought to be in the region of £60 million at present.

Having featured in every single one of Inter's Serie A matches thus far, the Reds will have to up their attempts to lure the full-back to Manchester, with his current contract not set to expire at the San Siro until 2025.

Elsewhere, United youngster Will Fish is expected to be recalled from his loan spell at Hibernian, with another temporary switch in either League One or League being lined up. Fish has only featured twice for the SPL side so far during his time as Easter Road.

According to the Real EFL, Fish's development is at a key point, with the need to play first-team football at the top of both the club and the player's wishes. Fellow teammate Hannibal is currently enjoying a strong spell with Birmingham City in the Championship.
