Manchester United have already decided need to make four new signings for the start of next season.
United have provisionally earmarked a full-back, a midfielder, a forward and a striker to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
United retain interest in Leicester playmaker James Maddison, his club and national teammate Ben Chilwell, Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Declan Rice of West Ham.
The quartet have all received England senior squad call-ups over the last year and United would be under pressure to conclude deals for any of them before the European Championship, due to the possibility of their valuations inflating.
There is an acceptance among the United hierarchy some of the proposed deals for the England internationals would require 'a lot of work' and it is understood they are currently compiling a long list of targets. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already outlined his intention to add a forward to the squad in the January window.
Solskjaer has overseen a strategy change to place an emphasis on youth and summer recruits Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire are all aged 26 or under. Maddison and Chilwell are 22, Sancho is still 19 and Rice 20.
United could release 30-somethings Nemanja Matic and Ashley Young next year, while the club hope to sell Alexis Sanchez and a centre-back, with the injury-prone Phil Jones' United career in jeopardy and Chris Smalling on loan at Serie A side Roma. United have little choice but to trigger the two-year extension in the 25-year-old Eric Bailly's contract.

OLE stop being bias with English players, if not you fail soon. Bruno Fernandez was out their go get him he is a complete player. but no thinking negatively that you can compete with Liverpool and Manchester city with average players. The board need to pull out huge money and sign matured players who are willing to give out all.

wood don want spent money 80m for jose buy maguire ,lastly sack jose, now maguire dream nightmare with MU.ole not suitable for united.now ole want to buy 4 player,MU will buy but spend more money, maybe 500m bcause so hard to take any player if MU just stay top 6 not ucl qualified.for me,rashford not suitable striker position..they must sold pogba,to much work for ole, mybe 2 or 3 year they can win trophy, but not now..wood very wrong decision after sacked jose and take ole..ole dunno how to handle player like rashford, lingard, martial, they just like to play want them want.it not good for mentally and fizikal.

Ole's transfer strategy sounds like me when I'm appointed as Manchester United coach on FIFA Manager 😂😂. I guess I can't complain.
