Old Trafford legends Roy Keane and Gary Neville have blasted Jesse Lingard for launching his own clothing label in the week leading up to Sunday's crunch clash with Liverpool.
Lingard launched his 'Be Yourself' range by his own fashion label JLingz last Sunday, appearing alongside United team-mate Marcus Rashford at a swanky launch.
But his timing came under scrutiny from both Keane and Neville, who said something like that would not have been acceptable during their time at the club.
Keane, speaking as a pundit on Sky Sports said: 'If that was a good, strong dressing room that wouldn't be tolerated. That's why I worry about the United dressing room.
'For a young player, still learning his trade, he could be the nicest kid in the world, I don't know him. But you're coming out with all that nonsense.
'I think football should be your No 1 priority. People say you should have other stuff outside of football but I don't think you should.
'Don't hide behind your cars or tattoos or girlfriends, you can do that when you retire!'
Neville, also in the Sky Sports studio for the Anfield showdown, added: 'Earlier this week, you talk about players and characters.
'I am actually a big fan of Jesse Lingard and I have no problem with him launching a clothes range, but don't launch it before Liverpool away, one of the biggest games of the season.
'Not this week, concentrate on Liverpool. Do it before Fulham. I am not having a go at his character because players should have other careers, should do other things.
'But you see that little thing and I thought 'not this week' it's Liverpool.
'Concentrate on Liverpool, no distractions. No disruptions.'
Jose Mourinho's side are languishing in sixth place in the Premier League table, some 16 points behind unbeaten Liverpool, ahead of the match.

mourinho talked about maturity u people questioned y he should say that about his players but what you guys are saying comes down to that. but since you only have the right to criticize and are all knowing u think its right to blame or criticize a player for what he does outside his office. he didn't skip training to do that neither does it take away his focus. once awhile you have to relax your mind as an individual and that us what he choose to do to achieve that relaxation of mind. if mourinho had complained about this (which he won't cos it doesn't affect their football) you would have condemned him and said he has bad management
