Man United off to worst PL start with 6 points from 6 games, worst start in 40 years

In the sixth round of the Premier League, Man United drew 1-1 with Tottenham after leading 1-0 and playing with an extra man, collecting only 6 points from their first six games (1 win, 3 draws, 2 losses).

Man United has set a new club record for their worst Premier League start; the previous lowest points total at this stage was 7.

The last time Man United had a worse league start was 40 years ago in the 1986/87 season, when they recorded 1 win, 1 draw, and 4 losses from their first six games. Manager Ron Atkinson was later sacked, and Sir Alex Ferguson took over.
