Manchester United players are fuming over the constant attacks from club legends.

United hero Paul Scholes has been one of the most outspoken critics after blasting the club and current members of the squad including Paul Pogba.
Club legends Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand have also been outspoken in their views with United struggling badly under Jose Mourinho.
But Mirror Sport understands current stars have been sent video clips of ex-players making high profile mistakes and they have even been passed around members of the squad and within their close circle of friends.
They think some of the comments have been “over the top” bearing in mind that even some of the club’s greatest players made errors during their careers.
But they also think some of the criticism has been too personal and are particularly upset by constant accusations that they do not care about the club.
United players believe many ex-stars lack the courage to criticise Mourinho so are taking it out on the players themselves.
They have also been taken aback by the number of former players in the media as TV and radio pundits weighing into the debate with remarks which lack any sort of constructive criticism.
United boss Mourinho has come under fire but some of the harshest remarks have been reserved for the players and that is causing major resentment within the squad.

Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs have been fair in their criticism in my opinion. It’s Paul Scholes who doesn’t seem to shut up. He’s only making matters worse for the entire club with his constant negative outbursts. We all know he was a great player but I think he’s got no hobbies and that has made him a miserable individual. But the news outlets are the worst. They keep stirring the pot constantly. I think if United players and staff should boycott all press conferences.

These ex players went through same criticism and i think its normal and shouldn't be taken personal, what don't kill you, will only strengthen you , to be Manchester Utd player is always demanding and not child's play , even if they had their (exp players ) minuses , am sure their pluses are far great unlike the current crop of players and coaching crew . Let the players soak up the heat , pull themselves together as a formidable unit and prove the critics wrong with required performances and results, as simple as that. #GGMU.

Conditions then were different because United had the money to buy almost any player they wanted and they played against poorly funded teams. Now most teams can afford better players and the quality is higher and more balanced than then. It's time people get used to it and its good for the League but definitely not for United. Even the English national team is better and more competitive than the one of the Manchester United legends, testimony is there. All what we're seeing has nothing to do with the Manager and the players. Teams which invested in better players like Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are doing better because they have quality players now like the Manchester United of those years, period.

I still believe mourinoh should be sacked. his tactics have become obsolete. bring in new blood for both manager and players. look at city pep is not afraid to sell players who don't fit his team e.g joe Hart. yaya toure, Milner, sancho. above all the players are happy and eager to play for him and see the results. manu should stop parking the bus I think this is how mourinoh will play against Chelsea or else he will face a humiliation. Plse sack mou it's high time.
