Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign Portugal striker Goncalo Ramos as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo in the January transfer window.
According to the Telegraph, United want to sign Ramos as a replacement for Ronaldo following the 37-year-old's departure from Old Trafford. The report claims that the Reds were tracking the Portuguese youngster before Erik ten Hag took charge of the club this summer.
The Dutchman last week confirmed that United want to sign a striker in January, with Ramos' recent performances at the World Cup putting clubs around Europe on alert for the Benfica star's signature. The 21-year-old scored the first and only hat-trick of the tournament during his country's 6-1 win over Switzerland, before the 2016 European champion eventually lost to Morocco in the quarter-finals.
Ramos replaced Ronaldo in the starting line-up for Portugal's final two matches in Qatar, as reports now link him with a move to United. However, it is claimed that Ten Hag has confidence in Anthony Martial to lead the line for his side in the second half of the season, before focussing on a marquee striker signing in the summer.
Elsewhere, the Mirror report that Paris Saint-Germain are willing to pay Marcus Rashford a jaw-dropping £850,000 a week to tempt him away from Old Trafford.
The report states that the Ligue 1 side are looking to make the 25-year-old one of the best paid players in the world as they put together a package to convince him to move to France. Rashford is out of contract this summer, and although United have the option to extend his contract by a further year, PSG are free to negotiate terms directly with the forward form January 1.
The news comes after club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently admitted that the French side were previously interested in Rashford and have not ruled out another move for him. United will be hoping that they can tie down Rashford to a long-term deal at the club in due course, and that the England star does not get tempted by the lure of a big money move to PSG in the near future.

That's the problem when the club don't win trophies regularly. other clubs dun even have to provide alot of reasons to convince a good player to switch camp. If rashford was to leave, I hope he goes to laliga, Barca or RM. Going to another EPL club would be betrayal, going to a less competitive league like bundesliga or ligue 1 would be a step down. more importantly, I hope he continue at utd under ten Hag.
