Manchester United are eager to secure the signature of highly-rated Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra.
The 20-year-old has already played 18 times for his club so far this season.
Marca claim that United and Juventus are two teams with serious interest in bringing him to their respective club.
However, the €40 million that United are willing to pay may not be enough to do a deal.
Guerra reportedly has a €100 million release clause in his contract, which expires in the summer of 2027.
Valencia are not keen to sell the starlet, but do have financial difficulties that may necessitate a sale.

we talk here about Peter Lim. This dude is capable of everything. He sealed Dani Parejo, our Club legend even tho he said he wants to retire at Valencia why wouldn't he sell a kid like Javi
