Tottenham are bracing themselves for a major fight to keep Mauricio Pochettino in the summer.
Manchester United and Real Madrid both have him at the top of the list to be their next manager.
And there is a growing fear at Spurs that this summer will be crunch time for their boss as Europe’s top clubs eye him up.
Pochettino has made it clear he wants to lead Tottenham into their new £1billion stadium next year, but it has not dampened the interest in him from both Old Trafford and the Bernabeu.
Jose Mourinho is under mounting pressure at United and could go at the end of the season if they miss out on a top-four finish and the money-spinning Champions League spot that comes with it.
European champions Madrid are also keen on the Spanish-speaking Argentinian, who both played and managed in La Liga with Espanyol.
They promoted Santiago Solari from within when they sacked controversial summer arrival Julen Lopetegui after just four months in charge, but there is a feeling he is just keeping the hot-seat warm until they can make a long-term appointment.
The lure of the Bernabeu could be hard to turn down, and even though Pochettino signed a new five-year deal worth £8m last summer that includes no buy-out clause, Spurs know their manager is in demand.
Pochettino will be in the spotlight over the next few months, and the way he guided Tottenham into the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday by masterminding an impressive result and performance away to Barcelona will only strengthen his stock in Spain.

Pochettino tactically, he is great. His understanding of the game, both as an ex player and as a manager has held him in good stead for quite some time now. He hasn’t won any major honours with Tottenham yet, but he has atleast ensured that they are always in the race. All these despite limited funds being available. He is good at man management too and shares a special rapport with most of his players. And, ofcourse, he hates Barcelona. Looks like he is tailor made to manage Real Madrid. But these are still rumours. He recently signed a contract extending his stay at Spurs. Its highly unlikely that he will breach it. I personally would love to see Guti manage the team. 🔥❤

I honestly think that Solari is a very good manager. He is extremely good with youngsters and does not hesitate to drop or replace any big stars. The problem of Real Madrid is that they lack a world class attacker to provide a killer pass or score goals. Hazard and Icardi will solve that problem. I hope Perez feels the same

No one cares it’s a weak performance from team. No coach can lead you if all players play trash. Always coach out, and hire another and coach out such a shame to blame a coach. You cannot always blame coach . Football is such a shame to watch this days

It's not going to be easy for him to leave, Tottenham is looking at him for as long term Manager, like Wenger, same with Klopp, So real Madrid are not getting any Top Manager anytime soon, it's the President's fault anyway, who has a team that wins the Champions League 3 times back to back and changes it. If it's not broke leave it, now Madrid are suffering because of his decision his caused Zidane and Ronaldo to go. If I were to sign a manager it would be Borussia Dortmund Current manager
