Manchester United are happy to splash £20million to allow David De Gea to leave.
Spanish keeper De Gea only has a year left on his current United deal, which means he would be able to walk away from Old Trafford for free next summer.
The club and shot stopper have seen negotiations over a contract stall, after the Red Devils refused to meet his massive wage demands.
As such, United are willing to listen to offers for De Gea, and according to the Sun, to persuade him to depart this year, and help land them a hefty transfer fee, they are ready to hand him a golden handshake.
United will listen to offers of between £60m and £75m, which would mean that even if they gifted De Gea £20m, they would still pocket at least hefty £40m from the move.
De Gea may still reject any transfer this summer, knowing that he will be in more demand as a free agent, and can therefore jack up his wage and signing on fees.
The former Atletico Madrid man endured a tough campaign at United last season having made high profile gaffes against Barcelona, Everton, Manchester City and Chelsea.
That came after a poor World Cup last summer, with the awful 12 months somewhat lowering his status.
Jan Oblak, along with Tottenham ace Hugo Lloris, have been named as potential De Gea replacements at the Red Devils.
Goalkeeper Oblak signed a new contract at the Wanda Metropolitano in April, to extend his stay in Madrid until 2023 - although hinted he could still depart if the club's ambition wanes.
