Manchester United will still have to pay Jadon Sancho's mega wages even if they manage to get him off the books in January.
The former Borussia Dortmund winger appears to have little future at Old Trafford after a very public falling-out with Red Devils' boss Erik ten Hag. Sancho was dropped by the Dutchman after failing to match his expectations in training.
He responded to those claims with a statement on social media. The situation has worsened since then, with Sancho being banished from training with the first team, while he was also left out of the club's official squad photo.
That has led to suggestions that he could be on the way out of Old Trafford as soon as the January transfer window. Italian giants Juventus have been linked with a swoop.
However, a transfer will not be easy. A loan deal appears to be the most likely exit route for Sancho but according to Tutto Juve, the Serie A outfit would not be able to afford his €20million (£17.4m) wages.
That means that United would have to contribute to that wage packet in order to get him out of the club. Juventus are not the only club to have been linked with a swoop.
A switch to Saudi Arabia has been touted. United were open to letting Sancho leave for the Gulf state in the summer but were unable to agree a deal. According to recent reports, Premier League rivals Chelsea could also emerge as an option.
Sancho, 23, has made 82 appearances for the club since a big-money switch from Borussia Dortmund. He has scored 12 goals in that time. The wide-man has three years remaining on his current Red Devils' contract.
Former England winger Andros Townsend has previously claimed he sympathises with Sancho but can only envisage an exit at some point in the near future. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "I've been where Jadon Sancho is.
“I've been that young, emotional winger. I made tons of mistakes, just based on pure emotions. In a few days, when the dust settles, you realise you made a mistake and you apologise, which Sancho hasn't done.
"I'm questioning who's advising him, who's in his ear? Senior players should be telling him, agents should be telling him, close friends and family should be telling him.
"I don't think what the manager said was personal. All he said was Sancho hadn't trained well so he wasn't playing. It was a professional opinion. Calling the manager a liar... there's only ever going to be one winner there."

You're too young to be stubborn, you have a future ahead you. You will make other clubs to be scared of your behavior. Apologies doesn't cut nor hurts, just say it and move on even if you're right. My Advice.
bro stop crying ETH criticize Sancho on media that's totally wrong , injured ruined Bale, casilas was ageing while james can't bench any star in BBC and KMC it's different cases

Sancho may not be good but he is better than anthony. He needs to wait a little, ten hag will be fired as soon as they start to meet better teams
I think your head and eyes are screwd in the wrong place. Sancho cannot defend or run back. His like a passenger. The only threat he offers is when he is I'm form on attack and that two 25% of the game. Anthony may not be that lethal in maturity and decision making. But he hustles for the ball. He brings his full back into the game. He runs into spaces to stretch the defence. He keeps his with and defends when off the ball

I think Sancho don't like playing football! no team or managers will want this kind of attitude in their squad, what a waste of talent.

ETH is still a softy at heart, insisting on a personal apology from JS to be reinstated back. LVG banned VV till his contract expired without an option to transfer out. VV was a shadow of himself in Barca since then. As a person in management, I think JS should be punished by docking his pay (75%) since he's not playing and banned from all club facilities until he apologises to the management, teammates, staff and fans via the media.
u can't do that, it will be a violation of terms of contract. he can sue them and gain more from it.
