Manchester United have reportedly made a €95m offer for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, despite the Azzurri wanting over €100m.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Red Devils have made the Senegal international their number one transfer target and are ready to bid €95m for his signature, as it looks like they have missed out on Ajax teenager Matthijs de Ligt.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has stated in the past that it would take a huge offer for him to part ways with the 27-year-old, wanting over €100m for him to even consider a sale.
However, the defender has a €150m release clause that becomes active next summer, while Paris Saint-Germain have also been recently linked with a move for the former Metz youth team product.

I don't get it why we are going after player who has been nearing 28 and cost us over 100m why not players like ruben dias who only cost 60m, monalas who cost only 30m.. Napoli not interested in selling him that's for sure we have to buy someone before july so they can adapt in this team during preseason

Even if Napoli plays Champions League for 10 years consecutively, they are no way match to Manchester United standard, so if United want Koulibaly for €90M and they demanded for more over a player nearly 29 or 30 years old then he should rot in Napoli. The best thing is for United to get De ligt by all means cause who ever got De ligt now will never let him go for the next 14 years. Only one transfer window for De ligt and there will be no other De ligt
