Manchester United have been quoted a €60m price-tag for Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to the Corriere della Sera.
The interest in Donnarumma is nothing new, but the stars are aligning to make it a strong possibility it could finally happen this summer.
He is still only 20 years old, but already a veteran of Serie A with 142 games under his belt and a regular Italy international with 12 senior caps.
As Milan are changing their strategy this summer and will need to cut costs amid Financial Fair Play issues, Donnarumma is the most likely name to be sold on.
This is because he’d command the highest transfer fee and, having come out of their youth academy, would represent a massive profit.
He is also the highest earning player in the squad, so that salary would be off their books too.
According to the Corriere della Sera newspaper, Manchester United have asked agent Mino Raiola about Donnarumma’s availability and Milan would demand around €60m.
Considering his age and proven pedigree, that’d be something of a bargain for the Premier League side, who won’t extend their contract with want-away David De Gea.

This is the most realistic lineup we are going to see next season. probability of this Line up is 80% coz 1. I haven't included Daniel James (not available in Af). 2. Young will play despite I hate him. 3. We might sign a one more player(ST or RW) 4. We might sign Partey (but Rabiot is cheaper) Substitutes - Fred, pereira, Smalling/Jones, Chong, Greenwood, Dalot>young( ) Etc.
If you are curious about who we are going to sign. This is exactly it.

Why is United searching for a new goalkeeper when we already have the best second choice goalkeeper in the world, Romero? United should first focus on both midfielders and defenders.

People keep saying about DDG staying, but face facts, he's going this transfer window whilst Man Utd will get money for him. As to what club he'll go to I've no idea, but Utd are standing firm about his contract and they're not paying what he's asking... I also agree Romero is good but I do think that Utd should buy another keeper on the same par with DDG as he used to be...
