Manchester United are close to confirming the signing of Southend goalkeeper Nathan Bishop, with manager Sol Campbell confirming the youngster is on the brink of an exit.
The 20-year-old was absent from the Shrimpers side on Tuesday and has been linked with a move, and now his manager Campbell has confirmed rumours of an exit and said he is on the brink of leaving - although he claimed he didn't know which team he would be signing for.
'He's having a medical,' said Campbell, as reported by the BBC. 'I don't know where but if he passes the medical he's gone.'

Because Romero is leaving at the end of season...Grant contract over and joel peraira also leaving...we only have Henderson and de gea... Henderson don't want to be back up to de gea and so we are buying a 20 yr old keeper to back up de gea... that's a good move by united
