Man Utd determined to land Mount as he'd wait long before Stamford Bridge return

The date Mason Mount would face Chelsea again if Manchester United get his deal over the line has been revealed.

And it turns out the 24-year-old would have to wait quite some time to face his old teammates.

Yesterday, Chelsea swiftly rejected a £40million offer from the Red Devils for the midfielder, and are holding out for at least £70m, but United are determined to get their man and in May, Mail Sport reported that United want to pay in the region of £55m.

Should they secure the services of the England international, we now know when Mount would face his old club as the Premier League fixtures have been released.

Manchester United will host Chelsea first on Wednesday, 6th December.

That month will be pivotal to Erik ten Hag's Champions League qualification ambitions as United face Newcastle, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Liverpool, West Ham, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest this month - some of whom are direct rivals.

And on Wednesday 3rd April, Mount would play at Stamford Bridge in an away kit for the first time since his loan stint at Derby County.

April isn't looking much kinder to United, who will play against Chelsea, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Burnley that month.
