Football fans have taken to social media to praise Antony's stunning assist for Alejandro Garnacho's second goal in Manchester United's 4-3 defeat to Chelsea.
United had gone behind within four minutes, with Chelsea racing to a 2-0 lead thanks to Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer, as the game looked to quickly be getting away from the visitors.
However Erik ten Hag's side had Garnacho and captain Bruno Fernandes to thank after two goals made it 2-2 by half-time as the Red Devils fought back.
The Argentine youngster then gave his side the lead in the 67th minute with a close range header over Djordje Petrovic, but it was all about the assist from Antony - although Palmer would strike twice in stoppage time to make it 4-3.
With the visitors looking to beat Chelsea on the break, the Brazil international broke free down the right, after usurping Marcus Rashford's spot in the side.
With Garnacho bursting into the middle Antony spotted the promising position and put in a cross with the outside of his left foot, arcing it beautifully behind the Chelsea defence and onto a plate for his team-mate.
Garnacho supplied the finishing touch, leaving TNT Sports commentator Darren Fletcher in raptures, noting: 'That's one of the passes of the season.'
His co-commentator Ally McCoist echoed the sentiment, replying: 'Without a doubt - absolutely different class.'
Antony has come in for criticism at times this season, but was fully deserving of the praise that came his way, with supporters flocking to X, formerly Twitter, to shower him in acclaim.
One wrote: 'That Antony assist damn, I’m sorry for doubting you king.'
Another added: 'Garnacho header off the most sensational trivela assist by, was that really Antony? Have I been drinking?
A third claimed: 'WOW WOW WOW.. that assist by Antony was world class'
A fourth fan piled in to add: 'Antony absolutely superb this match. What an assist!!'
And a fifth stated: 'Hats off that's a wonderful assist for Antony.'

Anthony and Garnacho both have loads of talent they just don’t have a coach to help them realize that talent. Pore Anthony he has been burned with Erik as a coach in Ajax and now again in Manchester United that could really stall a young talent’s career. Feel sorry for him

I'm Arsenal fan but surely Ole combine with Carrick is better than Ten Hag..I hope this is not happen.
You are absolutely correct those two would be miles ahead of ETH who’s setting some of the worse records in Manchester United’s history. The latest one is 12 games lost in a single Manchester United’s history.

These two players could be the unstoppable two for Manchester’s future if only they had a real coach to help them reach their full potential.

The problem with ManU is that it is clear we didn't sign a football coach but rather a football manager, if that wasnt the case, our players wouldn't be committing the same mistakes every match they play bcz it is the role of a football coach to identify a player's failures and correct them during training, all our manager does is read out the starting team and the subs and he is done for the match day
none sense commenting. you blame coach for a slight touch in the pen box?? seriously.. you're saying Eric ten hag touched the Chelsea with gers leg to give them a penalty.. pathetic yiu

ten hag should b sack trust he is not for man utd
you should just follow man city.. can't be blaming the coach when his team had already won until last mins where players can't stick to closing down and helping the team mates. guess what? plus the reffing made the harsh softest decision to give a pen.

Only one pass in a decade 😂🤣🤣🤣
And correct me if I am wrong, in a full decade, no Arsenal player has ever attempted it, but in our team, it's the order of the day bcz Bruno always kills them and now we have a second master in Anthony, be happy for us
