While it will come as no surprise to anyone that Daniel James has consistently been Manchester United's fastest player this season, the Welsh winger actually hasn't registered the quickest speed out of his teammates.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has moulded his young and improving side into a frighteningly potent counter-attacking unit and the pace he has throughout the team is a crucial aspect of his plan.
The leader on that front is the lightning rod James, whose blistering pace has been vital for United in getting up the pitch quickly and stretching panicked defences.
The 22-year-old is probably only beaten for raw pace in the Premier League by Wolves' Adama Traore and, according to stats from Opta, via Manchester United, he has registered the quickest individual speed in 12 of United's 29 league matches so far this season.
Closest to James is star striker Marcus Rashford, who has been United's quickest player in nine games before a serious back injury ruled him out of action for a number of months.
However, while the pair are consistently United's quickest players it's actually young prodigy Mason Greenwood who has registered the quickest individual speed this season.
The 18-year-old has been repaying the faith showed in him by Solskjaer and is enjoying a breakout campaign, scoring 12 goals, and proved just how fast he is when he registered a scorching speed of 37.60 km/h in the recent 1-1 draw with Everton.
The sprint saw Greenwood overtake midfielder Fred who was top after another impressive speed of 37.29 km/h, which also came against Everton though in the reverse fixture.
United's top five speeds this season:
Everton (a) = Greenwood (37.60 km/h)
Everton (h) = Fred (37.29 km/h)
Burnley (a) = James (36.90 km/h)
Liverpool (a) = James (36.50 km/h)
Crystal Palace (h) = Rashford (36.32 km/h)

Manchester united probably has the most pacey attacking line in the Premier league, they just have to take their chances to be unstoppable!

To be honest fastest speed doesn’t really matter when it comes to pace it’s all about consistency. Pretty sure Zlatan hit a crazy top speed against Cagliari but he is not quick at all. Adama is faster than everybody but he hasn’t reached a top speed like other players have. Some days people just happen to have the perfect lunch the perfect sleep the perfect stretching one day so when they are taking that run all of a sudden they became extremely fast then it never happens again
