The announcement that all English football fixtures until April 3rd, at the earliest, will be suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, will only affect two Manchester United matches as it stands.

As it currently stands, only the United game away at Tottenham this Sunday (March 15th) and next week's FA Cup tie away at Norwich (March 22nd) fall under the suspension with all English football professional matches postponed for the next two weekends. That's as well as the Europa League last 16 tie against LASK (originally set for March 19th), following UEFA's announcement that all next week's European games would be postponed.

It is not yet known whether the suspension will be extended, with the extent of the COVID-19 outbreak yet to be fully realised.

A statement explained that clubs are also being encouraged to limit their activities to reduce the spread of the disease.

United are due to travel to Brighton on April 4th, with that game β€” as it stands β€” currently due to go ahead.

United's Under-23 game against Middlesbrough at Leigh Sports Village on Monday March 16th and the FA Youth Cup semi-final away at Chelsea on March 21st have also been postponed.

United games affected by coronavirus suspension:

Tottenham (A), Premier League

Norwich (A), FA Cup

Middlesbrough U23s (H)

Chelsea FA Youth Cup (A)

Note: The second leg of the Europa League fixture vs LASK Linz has also been suspended by UEFA.
