Manchester United reportedly have a £274 million transfer budget to spend this summer, in the news that should excite the club's fans.

According to Soccerex, who produce the Football Finance 100 list to break down all the finances of the world's top clubs, United have some serious funds in the bank thanks in part to the massive revenue coming in from various commercial and sponsorship deals.

The 'cash in the bank' uses well-connected sources to determine just how much clubs are able to spend and for United, we're talking nearly £300 million.

In the two transfer windows he has had in the United hot seat, Solskjaer has spent a total of £220 million on the likes of Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes.

But with a big squad overhaul still needed at Old Trafford, expect United to splash the cash on plenty of new additions.

United are said to have a higher transfer budget than all of the other club's, just ahead of Arsenal, who are believed to have £261.5 million in the bank even though they claimed to have no funds for transfers in the January window.

Bayern Munich are also expected to have £200 million available as they look to enter a new cycle, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain having £190 million and £138 million respectively.

According to the report, La Liga Athletic Bilbao have a healthy £132 million, while Spurs are the final Premier League representative with £113.7 million.
