Michael Carrick is seemingly starting to lose the dressing room, with a number of key players clashing with the head coach during Wednesday's Champions League loss to Como
Manchester United's Matheus Cunha was reportedly embroiled in a fiery exchange with Michael Carrick during Wednesday's Champions League loss to Como. The rift at the Red Devils appears to be widening, with Bruno Fernandes also questioning his head coach before the 45-year-old responded during his post-match press conference.
Como humbled the Premier League side as Cesc Fabregas delivered a statement performance in the Champions League. The visitors stormed to a 4-1 victory with Nico Paz bagging a memorable brace in the emphatic triumph.
The setback adds to a torrid spell for Carrick, prolonging their search for a win to seven fixtures. The Sun's Samuel Luckhurst, meanwhile, claimed that Carrick had a 'relatively robust' confrontation with Cunha during an exchange that wasn't captured by television cameras.
Some United supporters also expressed alarm over the "altercation" between the Brazilian and his boss. Cunha was withdrawn at the interval, with Amad introduced, as Carlos Baleba also came on at the beginning of the second half in an attempt to salvage the contest.
However, it proved futile as United were outclassed in every area. United's aspirations of a crucial victory were effectively dashed inside two minutes when Paz bent home a stunning opener, leaving United instantly deflated.

Carrick's team were made to pay for their slack defending as they allowed the former Real Madrid talent too much space. The visitors were also lucky not to trail by a greater margin at half-time.
But just four minutes after the restart, Anastasios Douvikas found the net in what became an eight-minute onslaught from Como, with Paz taking advantage of a United error. A week after Lisandro Martinez's explosive remarks, in which he criticised the shortage of reinforcements in the squad and the Old Trafford hierarchy, Fernandes decided to air his own grievances.

In doing so, he called out Carrick over his tactical approach in a revealing confession. He said: "It's a decision from the staff to not press man-to-man and sometimes leave space behind and try to get the ball, wait for them, but sometimes when you give space to these teams they get confidence.
"It's not the first time, we started on the wrong foot, and they scored very early. Not much pressure on the ball, not many good movements with the ball, not many things going our way.
"Conceding early makes us go into game with a mood of defeat, it's difficult to get out of that, trying to be brave, to have the ball and make something happen. If we are not able to do that, it is going to be very difficult to get out of this situation."
The consequences from Wednesday's match will rumble on, just as they did following last week's 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid after Martinez's comments. United have found themselves in the spotlight and under scrutiny for all the wrong reasons as their promising season begins to fall apart just two months in.
Carrick responded to Fernandes and raised concerns about his squad's commitment, with the club edging towards turmoil both on and off the field. He said: "We might win, we might lose, but the way we went about it tonight, I wouldn't say everyone, but the way we went about it in some ways tonight wasn't acceptable.
"And I just wanted to let the fans know that I feel for them, for sure. It wasn't just the goals, if I'm totally honest. It was the manner and the way we played at times, in the way we went about it, that was the difficult thing to watch for me.
"We actually half-pressed man-to-man the second half and then conceded a goal from that. And there's a little bit on whatever system you play, whatever tactics you play, if you don't run, and you don't run forward, and you don't run back, you ain't going to win."

I will also blame Carrick,Casemiro an old experience players, champion League are meant for those type of players. He needed to reinforce and instead allow Casemiro go?Is a coach who knows the value of a player. So if you let him go is your problem. He could have use Casemiro to build his team
