Manchester United have moved to clarify rumours of a bust-up between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho by labelling the reports as 'absolute nonsense.'
Speculation had suggested the pair had fallen out over the World Cup winner's desire to leave Old Trafford amidst talk that his agent Mino Raiola was in negotiations with Barcelona.
But the Red Devils have reacted angrily to talk of an exit for their £89m midfielder, insisting all is well between the pair.
"Manchester United have spoken to me this morning," said Sky Sports reporter James Cooper.
"Which is very rare and unusual for Manchester United to react to stories at all, particularly to react so angrily.
"And they are angry, they are incensed, they're telling me there was no bust up between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba.
United next face Brighton away on Sunday, with Pogba key to Mourinho's hopes of keeping pace with champions Manchester City.

d fact is that pogba didn't perform well in some important matches last season, thinking that he was indispensable. he paid more attention to his hair. He only raised his game at the World Cup so as to raise his market value. He must work on himself for he is not yet there among the best

I've never seen where a football club manager/coach is made to bow to a star player. It has never happened and it will not start with Paul Pogba because Jose Mourinho is not a weakling. He gave him a captain arm band just to show that he's ready to move on with him but the greedy, ego laden star boy want his coach to carry him on his shoulder.

I don't think there is a rift between Pogba and Jose...Media just want to sell their papers since they don't have any other story to write about.. But if there's a rift between Pogba and Jose..then its High time for Pogba also to grow up or Man up...we can't blame Mourinho for everything that's is happening in the Local room... Some players have just stupid ego's everytime they want to rubb shoulders with the Coach.. You can't be Player and at the same time you want to be a Coach!Let the player do his job and Coach his too.. Its also high time to tell Pogba to watch what he Utter on Press or rather Media...He should stop looking for cheap publicity.. We want him to show us What he does best in the pitch, not running around on PRESS... Pogba's Chronicles with Jose won't help the team but will just kill the Morale of other players...Someone should define What United means to this guys... am out...

Manchester United have gotten a good asset in Paul Pogba. He is passionate, skillful, committed and always want to win.The club shedded out a huge sum to get him from Juventus and they will always be hoping that he plays well than to sell him.Pogba rarely perform poorly, it is over expectation that croud the mind of the fans that make many of them not to see his germane and Paramount contributions. He is one of the best in the world and nothing can make Manchester united to let him leave now.

The media is the number one enemy stars are always facing, they just say anything that can gain attraction without thinking of the feeling of the people involved
