Manchester United have officially launched their pink away kit for the 2018-19 season - but fans will need to find £110 to match the look of their favourite stars.

The kit was revealed by the club at the end of August ahead of being worn against Burnley and the colour pink was selected in tribute to a local newspaper's former sports section.

It pays homage to The Football Pink newspaper, which was created by the Manchester Evening News and went out on Saturday afternoons until its closure in 2007.

It is a piece of history for United having never previously had an away kit in the colour pink.

One version of the adult shirt on the adidas website is called the 'authentic away jersey' and costs supporters £109.95.

Said to be 'identical' to the shirts worn by Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Co, fans are being encouraged to look beyond the replica away shirt which retails at £64.95.

Fans got the first sighting of the shirt back in July when pictures emerged from an adidas store in Taiwan.

They appeared to confirm that the upcoming away strip would be pink for the 2018-19 season - and now fans can purchase their own.

The kit got a successful first outing with Jose Mourinho's side running out 2-0 winners against Burnley.

A brace from Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku proved United are pretty in pink already so far this season.
