Manchester United are reportedly ready to extend Eric Bailly's deal at Old Trafford.
The defender's current contract at the Red Devils is set to expire in June next year after he joined the club three years ago.
Bailly's United career has been hindered by injuries and he is on the sidelines at the moment with a knee injury.
However United are keen for the centre half to remain at the club and are expected to initiate the contract extension in the near future, according to The Sun.
'We don't want players running down their deals. Eric might see his future differently at the end of the day,' a source at United told The Sun.
'For the next year, at least, we will box him off and see how his playing time fares over the rest of this season.
