Manchester United have released a special edition clothes collection to celebrate Chinese New Year.

The Red Devils released the holiday-inspired apparel on Monday with fans able to buy jumpers, t-shirts and a special kit from the club's store.

First-team stars Daniel James, Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford all posed while wearing the clobber, with the limited edition football kit the stand-out item from the collection.

The strip, which will not be worn by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in an official match, is adorned with a host of dragons to mark the 2020 Chinese New Year, which falls on January 25.

Sticking with the club's famous red-themed kits, the shirt is reportedly on the same template as the 2018 adidas x EA Sports shirts that made a splash in FIFA 19.

It features the same 1990s-inspired collar as those one off kits but this year's is black for United with a gold adidas logo in the middle.

The Manchester United badge is also in gold and sits on the centre of the chest.

The strip forms part of a wider Manchester United Chinese New Year range that fans can get their hands on from adidas and the club's official store.

Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid are also said to be releasing clothing specifically to celebrate the event.
