Juventus have stepped up their pursuit of Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku and are set to offer Paulo Dybala in return - but want a decision from the Premier League club within seven days.
Inter Milan were believed to be leading the race for wantaway star Lukaku but have been unable to agree a fee with United, who value the striker at £80million.
And with the English transfer window closing on August 8, the Red Devils are keen to wrap up their business as soon as possible so manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can focus on returning the club to their glory days.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport , Juve have rivalled Inter for Lukaku's signature and have now moved ahead in the race after offering a possible swap deal involving Dybala.
The Turin outfit, it is claimed, want the deal wrapped up within seven days and United will now have to make a quick decision regarding the Belgian's future.
Dybala is reportedly open to making the switch to Old Trafford but only if the club offers him an improvement on the €7million-a-year deal he currently has with Juve.
The Argentine striker was one of Juve's key players before last season, and scored 22 goals in 33 appearances in Serie A during the 2017-2018 season.

Juventus are about committing suicide in the transfer markets with all this dumb Rumors going about. If they are true. Juventus will only win the champions league in their dreams. We already own one of the most useless striker in the world. Mr useless Mandzukic. Now we are about to add another useless striker to our connection and give away a young talented player. If this happens, it’s definitely gonna be the most stupid transfer ever in the world for Juventus and it will be absolutely the best profitable transfer for Man u . If i were Man u I will grab it immediately without wasting time. Since morata lift for inter , this new guy as been acting up lately.

If united do this we will have a brilliant team and can sell pogba without worry and have an extra 160 million in the bank to sign maguire or koulibaly, just because Ed Woodward is afraid to lose money and a good banker takes risks and this guy doesn’t know or look at what we can be only how much we are!

He is indeed a talent but lets not forget how good Anderson was at Porto before he came to us to eat burgers.

Lukaku is a proven striker, he proved himself with a weak MU team n was far better with Debruyne n co in the Belgian National team. He wld be even better with a solid team like Juve
