Manchester United need some major surgery heading into next season - both on and off the pitch.
The Red Devils slumped to their worst-ever Premier League finish ever under Erik ten Hag. That left questions hanging over the Dutchman’s job, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe looking for replacements.
Ten Hag made one last plea for his role in winning the FA Cup. Regardless, Man United still need improvement and that could potentially happen with a clutch of signings.
Several players have already been linked with moves to Old Trafford, while the exits have already started. Take a look at all of the latest transfer news and rumours:
The first position that the Red Devils are attempting to strengthen is at centre-back. According to Spanish outlet Marca, Man United have lodged a €60m (£51m) bid for Lille centre-back Leny Yoro.
The 18-year-old is much admired at Old Trafford and the Red Devils appear to have set their stall out with their opening offer. Despite that, they could face competition for his services.
Spanish giants Real Madrid are also interested. In fact, they have told Yoro and his representatives to wait until they can also formalise their interest.
Man United also have alternatives should they be beaten in the race for the youngster. They are also keeping a close eye on Jarrad Branthwaite, Jean-Clair Todibo and Antonio Silva.
While a new centre-back could arrive this summer, a host of players have already left Old Trafford. Man United released their retained list on Wednesday.
First-team stars Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial are among those to leave at the end of their deals. Academy graduates Brandon Williams, Charlie McNeill, Marcus Lawrence and Kie Plumley are all leaving, as well as veteran midfielder Tom Huddlestone.
Talks are ongoing regarding new deals for Jonny Evans, Tom Heaton, Shola Shoretire and Omari Forson. Alvaro Fernandez has already left the club in a permanent move to Benfica.
Matheus Cunha insists he is “happy” with Wolves despite Man United targeting a £60m move for the Brazilian. He has been identified as a priority target for the Red Devils this summer.
Asked about interest in his services by Globo Esporte, he replied: "Whenever I can, I come along [to Botafogo-PB games]. I always want to show that (the affection) is reciprocated. Then we see that talk (Manchester United). But I’m very happy at Wolves.
"My focus is on resting and making the most of my time with my family. I’m very happy at Wolves. The focus now is on having better seasons and helping the club. God willing, I’ll continue on this path."

What we should consider about the Manchester United problems is that it is inherent. After the retirement of Sir ALEX FERGUSON, it was as if the Old Man has placed a “JUJU” and, no Manager was able to break it. For any Manager to Succeed Successfully, they should alien with the Old man and put head together for the The success of the, One Time, The Biggest English Football Club. Crispy Brown.

How is it possible to compete for the league with 64 injuries ya wolly? 🤔 Never heard a manager with that many injuries compete for the league anywhere in the world. Two seasons he won 2 cups better than any manager we've had in years, he had one the best defensive records in Europe last season all from one simple changed dropping Maguire 😂 replaced him with Martinez and Martinez instantly made an impact, him and varane best defensive duo since Rio and Vidic FACT. You don't know football so your blind your opinion on ten hag shows you aren't a fan atall of this club.
