Manchester United are facing serious competition from local rivals Manchester City in their bid to land Joao Felix.
According to the Express, the £100m-rated Benfica wonderkid is a serious target for both the Manchester clubs.
They were joined by eight European giants, including Premier League rivals Arsenal , Tottenham and Chelsea , in watching him bag a hat-trick in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Dubbed the next Cristiano Ronaldo , Felix has burst onto the scene and took Eintracht Frankfurt apart in the Europa League in front of a serious crowd of onlookers.
But with his value set to continue to rise, clubs are determined to act swiftly with United and City preparing for a tug of war.
Liverpool have also been watching his progress, with Benfica understood to be set to allow the playmaker to leave if offers meet their valuation.
Felix recently told Marca: "My dream is always to play for the big teams and in the big competitions, but as I’ve already said, I am here and I am very happy at Benfica, who are also a big European team.”
He was recently handed his first Portugal cap by manager Fernando Santos, who praised his "enormous potential".
"If I did not think Joao had quality, I think he would be here, it's very easy, I only put Joao because I believe he has enormous potential," Santos said.

Please leave Benfica kids alone, let them grow, they are top quality but they need to keep developing playing regularly, they will stay with Benfica for 1 or 2 seasons more,Félix have a 120 millions euros clause and Rúben a 60 millions clause and Benfica at the moment dont need to sell his players so if a team want to buy them, have to pay the release clause, even if we sell Félix and Rúben we already have replacements in the academy but we dont want to sell,we want to have a squad with at least 12 or 14 academy players who feel the badge and try to win the Champions League.
