Man Utd could be braced for a frantic January transfer window if Mino Raiola gets his way.
The super-agent dropped the bombshell last week that Paul Pogba was looking to leave the club next month.
Pogba has done little to play down the reports, despite reaffirming his commitment to United so long as he was wearing the shirt.
United are under increasing pressure to sell Pogba as his contract approaches its final year - but will we see a big money move in January?
Meanwhile, Solskjaer has plenty of other decisions to make regarding his squad which sets him up for a busy start to the new year.
Here are the latest transfer rumours from Old Trafford.
Leverkusen in for Williams
Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly chasing a loan move for Brandon Williams.
The 20-year-old could be heading out of Old Trafford on a temporary basis to get some regular first-team action.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is due to make a decision on Williams' immediate future in January, and The Telegraph report Leverkusen are at the front of the queue if United are willing to let him go.
Smith doubts Rice move
Former Man Utd striker Alan Smith feels Declan Rice would be a solid signing for his old club, but doubts the West Ham star will complete a move to Old Trafford.
"I like Declan Rice as a player and I think he would be a great addition – and is a British-based player, which obviously helps," Smith told American Gambler.
"I think he’s one that is a bit more old school than a lot of defensive midfield players are now."
However, Smith feels Solskjaer won't bid for Rice due to the presence of a current United star.
"It all depends on how good Scott McTominay is going to be, as you don’t want to get someone like-for-like that is already coming through the system," Smith added.
"He’s obviously someone that Ole holds in high regard, he sees him in training every day, and you wouldn’t want to block the pathway of a young lad coming through the United system."
Juve want Pogba swap deal
Juventus are prepared to offer either Paulo Dybala or Federico Bernadeschi in exchange for Paul Pogba if United are willing to let the midfielder go.
Finances at the Italian club are tight, meaning Juve have had to accept they are unlikely to be able to meet United's asking price.
ESPN report that Juve are now hopeful of tempting United into a swap deal, rather than a straight cash sale, though are targeting next summer to complete the move.
Like Pogba, Dybala is out of contract in 2022, and would appeal to United, who he almost joined last year.

Get the Swap deal for Pogba and Dybala done, I missed the Old Pogba and I'll miss the Old Dybala. They are not performing at their best maybe the deal would bring them back to their feats.

just in case you forgot, the same was the case of Sanchez and Mkhitaryan, it didn't get better after the swap, they both got loaned out the next summer

Man United will not be an ideal place for Dybala. We only want players whose heart will be at Man United not players who wants to use Man United as a means of transition.

Our CDM partnership is stable. We can play three different players if pogba goes. But we need to priortise a centre back and a cheap but good right back for AWB.

McTominay plays like a deer caught in the headlights. he tackles well but always gets in the way of his own player under high balls

Leverkusen would be ideal for Williams, Rice would be exceptional at Man U, Juventus should buy Pogba at full amount, no swap deal! we do not want a player that has rejected a move to old Traford before!

dybala will be a great signing for united, but if they get Dybala, then they don't need Sancho,so invest that 100m in a CDM and a defender

I'd love Dybala to man u, this will give van de Beek a chance to have more playing time as Pogba will leave. and give us a strong squad of finishers.
