Manchester United forward Noam Emeran has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The French forward joined the club from Amiens earlier in the year on scholarship terms and has now signed a professional deal after settling into life in Manchester.

Emeran joined United back in February after holding talks with the club for weeks. The teenager, who plays on the wing or through the middle, had plenty of suitors throughout Europe with Barcelona, PSG and Juventus all said to have been chasing the youth's signature.

The 17-year-old is yet to feature for United U18s due to an injury he sustained prior to the start of the new season, but will now be looking to push on having signed his deal.

Speaking prior to his move to Old Trafford earlier this year Emeran revealed why he has opted to chose United rather than his other suitors.

"After talking to my family, I think it was the best choice over what I was offered to help reach the top level," he told French local newspaper Le Courrier Picard.

"Now it's up to me to do the job to achieve my goals and dreams."

Emeran is still waiting to make his mark for United, but he has already revealed that club legend Wayne Rooney gave him advice following his arrival.

"He told me: A player makes good or bad his career choice based on his determination," Emeran told Le Parisien. "I realised that I had to be demanding of myself."
