Man Utd's last nine-game winless streak across all competitions was in 1988

On October 31, Man United will face Chelsea away in a Premier League Matchday 9 fixture.

Man United have been in poor form recently, approaching some undesirable records. The Red Devils have not suffered three consecutive defeats by three or more goals in all competitions since November–December 1961.

Since their 4-0 victory over Sabah in the Champions League on September 10, Man United have gone eight consecutive games without a win in all competitions (3 draws, 5 losses). The last time the Red Devils went nine consecutive games without a win was in 1988.
